New. Beginnings. And. Burritos.

I seem to be able to talk the ass off a donkey, my partner Dane is often purplexed with how many people I chat to when we are at the supermarket, my reply is "its a small town!, Don't you remember them from blah blah blah and they know XYZ and they did the thing with the stuff?!"
He looks at me with one eyebrow raised and in his typical Auzzie tone replies with "Righto".

Stick with me, this is going somewhere I promise.

Tracey, (delightfully smiley pregnant lady below) is the manager at Zombrero's in South Hedland and my addiction to the black rice power bowl and burritos may be a little more serious than I let on. I was in there so often that we got chatting about what I do (Ahhhhh now the first bit makes sense doesn't it?! I told you!). It turns out Tracey and her man Jayce were expecting a new little person!

Tracey and I went to have a coffee and a chat about what she might like before we went ahead and did the shoot, I like to do this to make sure that we both know what to expect from each other and for you to ask me any questions you may have. We discussed shoot style (casual and fuss free), look at images you like the feel of and talk just how uninterested and camera shy you think your partner will be. I think its so lovely that more often than not the bloke generally surprises his lady friend with how obliging he is, its a special time for them too and they recognise that they should soak up every second along side you. All I can do is try to make it as pain free as possible for them and limit my lame jokes where possible.

Tracey and Jayce are morning people. This made me a very happy camper considering its summer and stinking hot even at sunset. Jayce was kind enough to watch the tides and we picked a day that it was lovely and high, the lighting was beautiful and the 4.30am wakeup was totally worth it.

Congratulations Tracey and Jayce, I can't wait to meet your new little addition, this was by far one of my favourite shoots

xx
