Simply. Pure. Health
So remember that time I did a blog on Hedland Design/Stunning Walls? It was two blogs ago, If you didnt catch it go take a look, its called Thinking. Outside. The. Walls.
Well Kat and I have been back at it again with a local business and this time it was Hemoata from Simply Pure Health. Now you would think it was all in the name, aaaannnddd you would be right and wrong at the same time. Its so much more than that! As someone who is interested in health, I love talking about health, I feel like I have a little bit of knowledge on it but I'm also someone who isn't very good at it. Oops, I am still and will forever be working on it.
In the last three years my health journey (thats what your supposed to call it, a journey, because it never really ends) has taken me to some weird and wacky places that I never thought I would go, basically, I have become waaayyy more holistic than I ever thought I would. I'm talking Koombucha brewing, crystal using, yoga attempting machine. All of these things combined aren't the usual for me historically but if I'm honest with you, I bloody love it! And thats why I appreciate what Hemoata does so much, because she takes a different approach to health. Its more about Well being, and the more meetings I had with Hemoata to talk about her photoshoot and how it would all work with what Katherine was doing design wise for her the more that our philosophies aligned and I knew I wanted to work with her.
As well as having shots of Hemoata herself in the portraits we also wanted to include her daughter and Partner as it is clear that this family are a force to be reckoned with. They support, encourage and with her Partner also being involved in health they can draw from each others knowledge and find a way to best help you. It was important that we represent her family and the balance she has between business, health and family and that it all impacts each other. Plus her little girl is all kinds of delicious. Seriously, I had style and sass envy of a two year old.
Hemoata approaches health in such a kind and supportive way with her coaching, her experiences as an international athlete, her qualifications and her interest in physical fitness seem to give her a real edge and understanding as to what it takes to achieve goals that you set and the pressure you put on yourself.
Our health is so important but she reminded me that it isn't just eating well, or going to the gym that makes you healthy, its the whole approach. Being kind to yourself and taking it one step at a time and to make sure you are being SIMPLE, and PURE in your approach to HEALTH. See, It kind of speaks for itself.
If your feeling a little meh, if you have lost your taaa daaaaa, can't find your vaaavaaaa vooooom or if you have something specific you are needing help with then please contact her, a new approach may be the change that you need.
