Being photographed can make some people a little nervous, I understand that because I'm not a big fan either. That's why I do what I do, because I want you to have memories that stop time, you know , when you snort as you laugh, the characteristics and reactions you never get to see yourself that just make you "you".
Don't get me wrong, I wish I had invented the selfie stick too, but I pride myself on capturing feelings and the quirky giggles in-between when you think the photo is being taken. The aim of the game for me is that you feel a little more comfortable when I photograph you. It's only fair that if I photograph you snorting that you have some dirt on me, what I have done, and why I love to do what I do.
I decided at 10 sitting at a water fountain in Auckland CBD while watching people that I wanted to be a photographer (couldn't tell you what attracted me to it then, I just know that I still love it now).
I left high school at 17 and started my Bachelor of Applied Visual Imaging. At 21 I was finished and a qualified photographer.
I worked at a bank for a few years then moved to Australia (Port Hedland) from NZ in 2011 and have loved it here ever since.
In 2015 I finally took the business full time with the help and support of Dane, my partner, our amazing friends and family, along with our two dogs Saki and Chase (if you come over they will greet you with love and constant cuddles).
So that's me, when we meet please feel free to make fun of my accent (its still pretty thick). You can never underestimate how useful witty banter can be in a photoshoot until you use it. Let's capture your memories of this amazing place with your favourite people. If you got the love, I'll take the photos.
